A new midsize crossover with a coupe-inspired silhouette, standard all-wheel drive, and the technology to handle every Iowa season.
The all-new 2027 INFINITI QX65 pairs a 2.0L turbocharged I-4 with a 9-speed automatic and standard all-wheel drive across every trim. Three configurations — LUXE, SPORT, and AUTOGRAPH — share the same engine and the same coupe-inspired silhouette.
From the well-equipped LUXE at $53,990 to the AUTOGRAPH flagship with 20-speaker Klipsch Reference Premiere audio and quilted semi-aniline leather — every QX65 ships with all-wheel drive, ProPILOT Assist, and the same 2.0L turbocharged powertrain.
Every 2027 QX65 ships with selectable terrain modes — Standard, Sport, Eco, Tow, Snow, and Off Road — paired to standard all-wheel drive and a 9-speed automatic. That breadth of modes is unique among the three INFINITI utility vehicles built today: tune the QX65 for a smooth I-235 commute, a snowy December morning, a weekend tow up to Lake Okoboji, or a gravel back-road detour without changing vehicles.
ProPILOT Assist (hands-on) is standard on every trim, blending adaptive cruise with steering assist for relaxed highway miles.4 AUTOGRAPH is available with ProPILOT Assist 2.1, which adds hands-off operation on mapped, divided highways via the Technology Package. AUTOGRAPH also adds a 20-speaker Klipsch Reference Premiere audio system — a first for INFINITI and a meaningful upgrade for anyone whose daily drive doubles as their listening room.
Most of a QX65’s life will be spent on smooth pavement — the I-235 loop, Mills Civic out toward West Des Moines, Hickman across the metro — and that is where this car is designed to shine. The 2.0L turbo delivers quiet, easy power around town, the 9-speed automatic stays out of the way at highway cruise, and the coupe roofline keeps wind noise low even on the long stretch out to Iowa City.
When January arrives, standard all-wheel drive and the Snow terrain mode change the QX65’s torque split and throttle response so a cold-morning trip up Merle Hay or a January drive to a Wells Fargo Arena game stays composed instead of stressful. And when summer opens up the weekend map — Lake Okoboji, Honey Creek Resort, the Mississippi River bluffs near Dubuque, an overnight down in Branson — 6,000 pounds of available towing and 35.8 cu ft of cargo behind the rear seats turn a coupe-styled SUV into a real long-weekend vehicle.

The QX65 is a 5-passenger, two-row coupe-crossover with a sloped roofline and a sportier profile. The QX60 is a 7- or 8-passenger, three-row family SUV with a more traditional upright shape. Both ride on AWD platforms, but the QX65 is built for couples and small families who want luxury and style; the QX60 is built for families who need a third row.
Yes — AWD is standard on every QX65 trim (LUXE, SPORT, and AUTOGRAPH). There is no front-wheel-drive configuration. INFINITI’s intelligent AWD system distributes torque to the wheels with the most grip, which is particularly useful during Iowa winters.
EPA-estimated 20 mpg city / 26 mpg highway / 22 mpg combined. Actual mileage will vary by trim, driving habits, conditions, and the selected drive mode.
LUXE is the entry trim and includes ProPILOT Assist (hands-on), 8-way power driver seat, 11-speaker audio, and 20” machined wheels. SPORT adds a 16-speaker Klipsch system, 3D Around View Monitor, ventilated front seats, a gloss-black grille and 20” gloss-black wheels. AUTOGRAPH is the flagship: 20-speaker Klipsch Reference Premiere audio, quilted semi-aniline leather, 21” wheels, heated rear seats, Smart Rear View Mirror, driver/passenger massage, and an optional ProPILOT Assist 2.1 hands-off Technology Package. See the trim grid above for full details.
No. The QX65 is a two-row, 5-passenger crossover. The sloped coupe-style roofline trades third-row seating for sportier styling and 35.8 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seats. If you need a third row, INFINITI offers the QX60 (and the larger QX80).
ProPILOT Assist is INFINITI’s suite of driver-assistance technologies. Hands-on ProPILOT Assist comes standard on every QX65 and combines adaptive cruise control with steering assist on highways. ProPILOT Assist 2.1 (hands-off in single-lane highway driving on mapped roads) is available on the AUTOGRAPH via the Technology Package. ProPILOT Assist is a driver-aid; it is not a self-driving system and the driver must remain attentive at all times.
Up to 6,000 pounds when properly equipped. That’s competitive for the midsize luxury crossover segment and enough for a pair of jet skis, a small boat, or a teardrop camper for weekend trips up to Lake Okoboji or Honey Creek.
